After six months of searching, we finally found the home we were looking for!  We sold our house in November 2025 and moved an hour away for a job for me and to be closer to our oldest daughter who is currently in law school.

After some soul searching and unsuccessful house hunting, we made the decision to move back home; thankfully we found this house with a lot of potential. While we like the house it needs a lot of work; we really love the land. The property is about 5 acres of bottom land, so we'll be able to have a huge garden and hopefully some farm animals. 

My son affectionately calls this house "Little House on Holly."  We have been reading "The Long Winter" by Laura Ingalls Wilder and I have to agree this is the perfect name for our new house. After all my name is Hollie and this house sits off a little road my grandma used to live on called Holly. 

I'm excited to for all the memories to be made here and think this will be our forever home.
